Im a true believer in alkaline vs acidic foods. I had chemical poisoning about 2 months ago in which I accidentally inhaled a chemical and it burned up all my organs inside. If I ate something acidic, I was in constant pain. All my organs let me know that it was acidic and it was horrible. The minute I ate an alkaline food, the pain went away instantly. I mean, this was unbearable pain and I went to the emergency room twice for it and I discovered all of this about alkaline foods. The 2 best foods that I found for reducing acidity is apple cider vinegar and bananas (fully ripe bananas, if they are a little green, they can be acidic). Apple Cider Vinegar is hard to eat because its such a strong smell and taste, but I made salads and put it on there and it was the best thing for acid out of all the other alkaline foods I ate and made the pain go away right away.
